This position is for those interest in pursuing vocational ministry in a college ministry context at the University of Maryland. This initial form helps us learn about your faith journey, ministry experience, and vision for serving college students. It’s not a formal job offer or application yet — just a way for us to start a conversation and discern together whether this might be a good fit.

Campus Staff

This position is for a current OneU student who is already connected to the ministry and is potentially interested in exploring the idea of campus ministry as a vocational calling . Summer interns will be expected to raise support, coordinate student summer events, assist with freshmen recruiting.

    • 2025 New Staff Single Base Salary: $50,000 - $62,000

    • 2025 New Staff Couple (no kids) Base Salary: $60,000 - $78,710

    • 2025 New Staff Family (w/ kids) Base Salary: $75,000 - $99,698

  • ● Serve as a OneU Campus Ministry staff member and reports directly to Campus Director

    ● Participate in the execution of campus events and activities

    ● Create and implement personal campus plan

    ● Contribute to the execution of semester goals and plans

    ● Foster deep and meaningful relationships with students – discipling them in the ways of Jesus

    ● Intentionally pray for and pursue evangelistic relationships with students

    ● Contribute to the care and development of student leaders

    ● Raise and maintain 110% of your personal support goal

  • ● Follower of Jesus

    ● Demonstrates a passion for ministering to college students

    ● Active participant of a local church

    ● Previous ministry experience, lay or professional

    ● Understands, communicates with, and connects deeply with college students

    ● Can explain why Jesus is relevant to college students

    ● Proficiently and discerningly navigate one-on-one’s with students and lead bible studies

    ● Faithfully stewards time, possessions, and personal health for God’s glory

    ● Organized, proactive, and thoughtful

    ● Able to handle and work through conflict in a productive and graceful manner
